Simplicity 3790 view C

For those of you who haven’t heard the term before, a wad is a mass of soft or fibrous material – and this is a wadder, ergo a sewn item mainly suitable for rolling into a ball and throwing in the rubbish bin.  Or into the Salvos bin, as I did earlier today.  What’s wrong with it you say?  Well, take a look!

  • stiffish fabric – should have chosen something softer and drapier
  • tight over my ample stomach
  • sticky-up sleeve hems
