Sunday Stash #53

To covet: 1: to wish for earnestly.  2: to desire inordinately or culpably.

This week Sunday Stash isn’t as much about what is currently in my stash; rather, it’s more about some of the fabrics that I particularly fancy.  The current exchange rate makes fabric purchases extremely tempting, but my fabric shelves are full at the moment.  Until some major sewing takes place and their contents are further depleted, there won’t be any of these coveted fabric lines going in there.  But it’s nice to dream!

Firstly, have you seen Heather Bailey’s Nicey Jane range yet?  She is one of my favourite fabric designers, and I this entire range appeals to me.  She has a lovely post with gorgeous photos here that really show off these fabrics.

I also love Anna Maria Horner’s latest prints, Folksy Flannels and am eagerly awaiting the Little Folks Dobby and Little Folks Voile (although I know I can’t buy any – see earlier comment about full shelves).

But the ones that are going to be the most difficult to resist are Denyse Schmidt’s Hope Valley range, particularly the beautiful greys and greens.  I am quite besotted by the grey/green colour combination since seeing the wonderful blocks in Around the Block being produced for SheridanRita has also been showing off the beauty of grey fabrics lately.

So much colour, so much pattern, so much inspiration and all so pretty!  Sigh!  These are pretty too – and they are currently in my stash.

Farmers Market fat quarters - greens

Fat quarters of Sandi Henderson’s Farmer’s Market range. I have a few quilts in the mental planning stage that these would work nicely with. The greens for me:

Farmets Market fat quarters - pinks

The pinks for Clare and Stella.
