Vintage crochet Friday #48
This gem was kindly given to me by Nikki. It was published in the 80’s and draws from previous decades of vintage crochet, reinterpreting earlier designs in 80’s style. I’m looking forward to showing you some of these designs in the new year, but in the meantime will be taking a break from Vintage crochet Friday. Are the 80’s considered vintage yet?
I think the 80’s are considered vintage, I’m stumbling across lots of 80’s pattern books in the thrift stores and they often freak me out, the colours are just so out there, much like lot’s of the youth fashion we see today really.

I think the 80s are more vintage if you weren’t born then. Which I was. So it feels a bit weird, but yeah. I guess if the 60s were vintage in the 80s, the 80s are vintage now… 🙂
