Anne’s Tailored Bag
Most of you know that I tend to sew bags as gifts whenever a friend has a “noughty” birthday. I was able to combine the need for a present for Anne with the need to test-sew for Linda of Craft Apple – so here I present to you Anne’s Tailored Bag!
Did you notice the lack of leaves on the trees? I took these photos back in July! There are two versions of this bag in the pattern, and you can mix elements. This one has a ruffle feature on each side and a zippered gusset closure at the top. I love the chunky zip!
The fabrics came from GJ’s, but have been sitting in stash for some time. One day I fortuitously stacked them near one another, then realised that they’d combine beautifully into a bag! The large floral is a heavier weight fabric, so is perfect for bag making. There are interior pockets too.
Anne loved her bag and whenever I see her I hear reports on how many people have asked where she bought it. She replies that you have to turn noughty to get one!
It’s Beautiful..Love the fact that the Fabric has been utilized to show off that Gorgeous Flowers & I Love the Frill..Great fabric combo…
Who wouldn’t Like it….
cheers
Lovely bag! I really like the design
Love the bag!!! (And the noughty comment from Anne!) You chose the fabric beautifully, and it turned out delightfully. I wish I had friends that sewed!
