Speed limited
Somehow we’ve managed to use up all our cable internet allowance for the month and we’re speed limited. I can’t even download my emails. Could be something to do with discovering the joy of downloading audio podcasts for me and video podcasts for hubby…
So this is driving me nuts! I am so reliant on my computer and the connection it provides to the crafty community. Roll on 1st February! And maybe it’s time to investigate upgrading our internet plan.
In the meantime, a vintage pattern I recently acquired. It fired off some memory cells – Mum, did you make this cape for me at some stage? It looks so familiar!
I love that it has the stamp of the fabric shop on the front – I don’t even remember it existing! My blog will probably be quiet until we’re no longer speed limited.
I love the cape with the toggle closures. And I always love a cape with a hood. Did you see Meryl Streep in The French Lieutenant’s Woman? (Years ago) She wore one out on a damp and foggy night, with curls framing her face. So romantic. That’s all I remember about that movie, though.

Very cool pattern – I would love to see this one worked up.
Your cable company pretty much grounded you from the internet.
erggh same deal here, I blame the teenagers home from school….
Love the dress Lara – the belt looks good – and what a fantastic photographer you have in Claire!
