Playing with half square triangles
There were twelve squares left over from the charm pack I used to make Clare’s charm squares skirt. So I decided that it was time to learn a little more about pattern. I matched each of them with a neutral solid homespun, and sewed up half square triangles. Then I headed over to my “design wall” (aka bit of wadding blu-tacked to the cupboard door) and started to arrange and rearrange. This is where I need your help – which placement should I use?
And finally, Option 10: (arranged by Clare)
The final product will probably be a table runner.
So please let me know which one I should go with! I don’t even have a favourite at this stage.
Cool! I like option 9, not sure why, but I like the sense of direction and movement. I think it would be really effective as a table runner. Happy sewing!
Option 5 & 7 are ringing my bells!
amazing , so many options, i like ric rac option 2
I like 9. You’re super busy at the moment…love it!
I like both 5 and 9
I like 8, 5, and 6.
I like 5 and 7!
7 and 8!
Nice. I like options 5 and 8 as a centre piece for a table runner.
Good luck, can’t wait to see the finished project 🙂
I’m a 5 or 9 fan! I think they all would look great though. Anything in American Jane is just aces! Can’t wait to see what you make
I just like the fact you obviously had so much fun playing with your fabric 😉
#5 is my favourite because it showcases the red without it standing out. It seems to stick out in the other layouts.
