Nigella
I really, really love Amy Butler’s Nigella range of fabrics. So when I was lucky enough to become a test sewer for one of Craft Apple’s new patterns, I knew exactly what fabrics I wanted to use! The parcel arrived today.
Now I need to decide which of these will be best. I need to choose two – it’s a difficult decision!
The pattern I’m test sewing is a car organiser. The remaining fabrics will be used to make gifts for some of the myriad 40th birthday celebrations that are happening for our family & friends this year.
Ooooh – Lara
I have been sew tempted, but I seem to have so much amy butler now – but I think I need more – I love the large flower print!!!
Oooh-ahhhhh! I think you should just sit and stroke them for a while before you do anything with them. Lovely, lovely fabrics!!
top middle with bottom left…that’s just me! Those are such lovely fabrics! Good luck cutting into them!!!
Being a test sewer must be a dream job – especially if it involves getting such lovely parcels in the mail!
also oooo-ahhhhh lovely fabrics. and something new to look for on your blog. Tease us a little and show some progress pictures. Cant wait.

Yes, that Nigella fabric is dreamy. I have a lot left over from the bags I just made. I think I’ll decorate my craft room with it. Or make a skirt. Oh the possibilities!
Thay are beautiful. I love the bottom left one especially.
Oh, yes, I think Nigella is the best of her’s yet! Can’t wait to see your test sewing!
WoW, I sure would like to know how in the world to get a job like that? I tell you what, really… could you tell me how to go about it? That is like my dream job!
Oh, and by the way… I’m a grandma now and purses/bags change a lot! That is unless I’m taking care of our grandson… then, not so much! Then add most of the things that you have plus my normal stuff and you put about a 10 pound weight on my shoulder! The fabrics are wonderful. Guess I need to check out Crab Apples. Do you know who carries them?
Beautiful! Your car organizer is going to be so pretty. :o)
