Vintage crochet Friday #13
Sometimes it’s a good idea to remember what styles give crochet a bad name.
Although if I had a figure like the girl on the right, I reckon I might consider wearing it. Groovy baby!

Oh my!! This is hilarious! The first thing that has popped into my head is, “I wonder if they did Brazilians in those days?! Sorry – that thought should have stayed in my head. Groovy indeed!
Too funny. That is some serious crochet.
I love your gorgeous crochet blanket and quilt. You are a crafty genius.
All I can say is “Oh dear”…. speechless
Holy cow!
I love this!!! So cool. If I could get someone to whip it up for me, I’d definitely wear it. I would maybe add a couple inches to the top because I have a long torse and I get torso conscious…but other than that, excellent vintage find. I love your site for all these retro outfits. I should have continued practicing crochet from when I was a girl…
Talk about “laughing out loud”!
Seriously, though, where did you get that pattern and how did you know what I was wearing to sunrise service on Easter Sunday? I thought for sure I’d be the only one…..

oh MY ! I think we needed a warning before that photo Lara!
Oh Golly! I remember my mother having a pair of pants like the mustard ones but they were in navy blue.
So this pic brings back memories. Scary memories.
Oh no! The decade that style forgot!!! Times ten.
That mustard outfit should not be worn, by anyone! The white is more flattering, for sure.
You have to wonder if anyone ever actually made one of those nightmares! Or even worse, wore it!!!
LOLOL
The girl on the right is thinking to herself ‘ I am hot stuff in this outfit, yeah baby!’
The girl on the left is saying… ‘ I really think they could have made the effort to make the waist higher on my pants, they’re just not high enough!’
LOL
I feel sick at what I would look like in those pants.
Hilarious!
