Full Moon Forest – Little Prairie Girl Dress
This is the last dress I sew for Miss Clare for a little while – it’s time to move on and sew something for me!
The pattern is the Little Prairie Girl dress, by Favorite Things. The fabric is Full Moon Forest, by Moda. Check out the owls!
I made this in a size 5/6, and it’s a little big. It will probably not be worn until next summer. There is a fabric tie at the back to adjust the size a little, but it is too long through the body (Miss Clare is on the short side).
It’s a great pattern though – I might need to buy the adult version for myself (yes, I know, I could try sewing up some of the myriad of patterns I already have first).
Great dress lara, I think it would be very nice as an adult size.
Gorgeous! I love the fabric.
So cute! Why wouldnt she love it, hehe!!
What a lovely dress! I had chosen that fabric in a different color to do my baby’s nursery. Now I just have to get some of it and get going!
This dress is sweet! For someone who doesn’t have alot of time, you sure get alot finished!
Hi there!
We’re here in Austin, Texas, but we have some family in your neck of the woods!
I’m attempting to sew the Little Prairie Dress for my four- year old. I cut out all the pieces (no slip) and had to set it aside (probably to make room for dinner or such)…and my instructions have disappeared!
Wondering if you could help me out, since your dress turned out so beautifully.
I remember the first bit of instruction was worded a bit odd…probably the real reason I put it down.
Would you be willing to paraphrase the instructions and send it my way?
I just did a google search on “Little Prairie Dress Instructions” and you were among the ‘founds’.
Thank you, thank you!
I have now bookmarked your blog!
Sincerely,
robin
