New Look 6770
Another pattern from the New Look stable. I just made the skirt, view B. Stella styled herself – which means that she refused to wear the coordinating top I had laid out for her and added decoration to her top and skirt in the form of drips of maple syrup…
She’s been watching Clare and I pose for the camera and now has her moves down pat.
The fabric is a fine cord remnant from Lincraft. The waist is elasticised, the giant ric rac around the bottom comes from GJ’s, and it took less than an hour to sew. Instant gratification!
I made size 2 for three year old Stella. I’m going to make it again. Stella has taken after her sister and primarily wants to wear skirt and dresses rather than pants. Good thing we have a wardrobe full.
Oh, she is tooooo cute! What a great skirt, she was obviously ready for her close up haha. Wish mine would wear skirts, shouldn’t say that out loud, I know! If I had another girsl it would probably drive me nuts she wouldn’t wear pants! She has the cutest little face!
WHAT A C U T I E ! ! !
Oh she looks so gorgeous
You know you just make the cutest children’s clothes! You make me long for a little girl to make up these types of clothing again…wait…okay the longing is gone! *LOL* Seriously, this is just adorable!
Those pictures – and the skirt – are *so* cute. She looks like a beautifully dressed bundle of mischief 🙂
all the pics are cute but the last one takes the cake!
Go Stella! I love a strong-willed girl who knows what she wants! Heaven help you when she’s 13!
So cute she’s darling and the skirt’s not bad either.
I LOVE this skirt, and only wish it would be as cute in adult size! Perfect large polka dot size relative to the tiers and the ric rac border. Love, love, love!
