Ottobre 3/2013 No.32
Okay then, I’m now on holidays! Not back at work until the beginning of February. For some reason, I still found myself wide awake at 6am, so I’m up catching up on household chores and hopefully getting some more of my 2013 makes onto the blog. Today is the final day of school for the year, and the temperature is predicted to be above 41degrees. Eeek!
This is another of the t-shirts that I sewed up for Clare when I was at Sewjourn during November. May I present Ottobre 3/2013 No.32.
Now, because this is such a bold print you can’t really see the nice details. So let me tell you that there are little yokes at the front shoulder seam, with gathering into them. The sleeves are cap sleeves, that fit nicely into the armhole and side seam. And the neckline is finished with a simple band and then top stitched.
I’ve used this fabric before – it’s a cotton/lycra from Spotlight, and rather good quality. I bought it on clearance, so still have quite a bit in the stash!
Very cute!
That is great fabric. And Clare looks quite pleased with her new shirt!
Cute top. I’m very jealous that you’re on holidays already, enjoy them 🙂
Gorgeous! Clare looks great and also very happy. Enjoy the holidays. 41 degrees is terrible, though. (I get stressed at anything over 28. But I live in Wellington, so that doesn’t happen often.) i hope it cools down a bit for Christmas.
This is really cute on Clare.
Cute top and I think Clare approves. She is looking very grown up all of a sudden!
Great easy quick project. I can picture it in many color combinations!
