StyleARC Slip-on Suzie

I have a confession.  I really, really like StyleARC‘s jersey dress patterns.  Like this Slip-on Suzie I made at Sewjourn.

We were going to have a group sew of the Slip-on Suzie, but I think that I was the only one who got it made! At least the others had the chance to try mine on for size, and get an idea of what size and/or alterations would fit them best. This is a size 12, shortened a little through the body to allow for my short torso. I really love the fabric. It’s not terribly stretchy, but has such terrific colour and texture.

I suspect that it came from Darn Cheap Fabrics – it’s been in my stash for a little while. And it’s not all used up yet! It’s a little sheer, so needs a slip or leggings underneath. It was super easy to make, is a current style, and I think an all-around winner! It’s been worn a few times already.

My Milly dress has also been on high rotation. There are some other StyleARC stretch fabric dresses I fancy too, especially the Marita, Paula, Danni and Jessica (not that I have any of those patterns – yet).  I love layering dresses with leggings or tights, boots, a cardi or jacket, and a scarf for winter.
