if you keep things for long enough
I first blogged these pyjamas back in 2007. Having cut them out in 2005. But not having assembled them until 2007. What happened there? Why didn’t I construct them when I cut them out? I can’t remember for the life of me! Clare never wore them – by the time I sewed them together, she’d outgrown them. But I kept them, and Stella is only too happy to wear them now. Hooray!
Happy to wear them, but not happy to oblige me (or Clare) with beautifully posed photos. Instead, we get these.
I do seem to remember that the fabric came from Lincraft – I think a one of their Japanese florals, which they still tend to do. As for the pattern, I’ve just rummaged through my stash and can’t find it, which is most unusual! It may have been a Butterick one. Anyway, the combination of short sleeved top and 3/4 length pants is a practical and pretty one. So glad that they are finally being worn!
Geez. What’s with THOSE poses? My Smallest goes through the same choreography every.time. I reckon our kids have some sort of support group happening. Love the jammies…
I think I like the poses almost as much as the pj’s…. perhaps more.
love that last photo particularly!
Yep – great photos! The pjs are cute too
I think the photos and the pajamas are both adorable. Way to make an old project gain new life!
She’s too cute 🙂

oh, goodness – I think I see a little touch of your cheekiness in there Lars (could you slip me an email with the dates for our Sewjourne in Nov)
as always, so adorable. But funny poses and faces is the norm here in the states, esp highschool and college!
I think she is absolutely adorable – brings those jammies to life! There’s a period of my now adult daughter’s childhood for which I don’t have a single photo that captures her without her tongue stuck out.
Adorable daughter, so much personality! Those jammies look so comfy.. especially when it is a warm night. I really like the fabric.
