Circle in squares crocheted cushion
Take one crocheted cushion front (crocheted according to Tamara’s Circle in a Square granny pattern way back in October) and finally add a back and a cushion insert – then you get this!
The back is vintage chenille.
I think I like the back as much as the front! The craft room couch is almost overflowing with cushions now – but will that stop me?
I’d say not…especially when they are so lovely x
It looks gorgeous! And yes, so does the back!
I adore your cushion Lara, it’s gorgeous! It was great to meet you at S.I.T, I can’t believe how much you’ve blogged since then! Renae
Hi Lara – love the chenille backing – very nice
hang on- are you posting at Sewjourn? Or are you are techno genius who can schedule posts? If you are at sewjourn, can you please go and drink some wine, eat cheese..and, oh yeah, do some craft!
Don’t stop!! Keep making gorgeous cushions like that one.
One can NEVER have enough comfort!!!
Lara, check out this amazing circle in squares afghan my friend Helen made – I LOVE it! http://www.flickr.com/photos/helenmorgan/4621398390/
No, no. There should be no stopping on cushion creation. Something that simple which is so effective should only be encouraged I say.
A reversible cushion!! It’s gorgeous Lara. Job well done. 🙂
This is beautiful! You’ve inspired me to finish my cushion 🙂
oh that cushion is devine and i love the sneaky peak of the ripple blanket behind. they go beautifully together. love the back too.
Ooh, so lovely!
No! No stopping! It’s gorgeous!
You put my circle-in-square action to SHAME! Love it!
Hi
I can’t seem to get the pattern for ‘Circle in a square granny pattern’ for the lovely cushion you made. It is probably an old archive. i wanted just a very simple plain circle in square pattern but seem to come across lots of complicated ones. Can you point me in the right direction please.
Hello there! This pattern doesn’t seem to be available via my link any more. Other similar options are the Summer Garden Granny Square http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/summer-garden-granny-square.html and the Sunburst Granny Square http://web.archive.org/web/20011226081401/members.aol.com/lffunt/sunburstgs.htm and Flowers in the Snow http://solgrim.blogspot.com/2009/06/sirkel-i-kvadrat.html. I hope that one of these if what you are looking for!
