A couple of years ago I made superhero capes for Clare and many of her second-cousins for Christmas.  Stella was only a little baby that Christmas so she got a bib.  In the last few weeks she has been snaffling Clare’s cape to play superheroes much to Clare’s chagrin, so last weekend I dragged out the poplin and asked Stella to choose colours for her own cape.

The capes are made from Puking Pastille’s tutorial.  One side has a crown, for playing queens and princesses according to my girls, and the other has their initial for playing superheroes.

Stella has been happily running around the house and garden with her big sister ever since, calling out “Huperheroes” as she goes!

Don’t all huperheroes wear rabbit ears at this time of year?
