Another crocheted scarf. It’s from the same pattern as the Ginger scarf I made a couple of weeks ago, but this time in worsted weight Araucania cotton.
Of course the weather is now autumn at it’s finest and there is no way that I’ll be wearing a scarf for a month or two. But this one will be ready and waiting!
The yarn weight makes a significant difference to the look of the scarf – here are my two Anne scarves side by side.
This is such a lovely soft cotton, and it drapes beautifully. It’s a good go-to pattern if you need to make a gift, as it works in most yarn weights and compositions and it’s easy to memorise. The portability factor is high!
Peggy, thanks again for the gift of this wonderful yarn! I will think of you whenever I wear this scarf.
