Ginger Anne Scarf
I like to have some crochet projects on the hook that are small and easily portable. It’s important to have something to do while Clare is at her gymnastics class! This scarf is for me – I adore the yarn.
The pattern is called Anne and it’s easily memorised – another important element of a portable project! The yarn is called Ginger and it is from Wired For Fibre. It is hand-dyed and if my memory serves me correctly it is a combination of merino, nylon, silk and real silver (and has sadly been discontinued).
I have another version of this scarf on the hook now in worsted weight Aracunia cotton. Ready for tonight’s gymnastics class, of course!
this is so pretty … and it reminds me of a mask … i keep thinking about an elaborate venetian carnival mask with a pair of seductive eyes behind it. great portable project.
Great scarf Lara…may need to cast on myself x
Very nice. I love the organic feel to it! I think it would be lovely in brown or green!
lovely colors and great pattern, I did one some time ago need to make another one…

Love this project! So pretty. And I like the idea of protable projects, get every crafty minute in that you can! Doesn’t it make the time fly?
