Post Christmas reading
Mr Thornberry gave me a beautiful assortment of craft books. It was pretty easily done, since I ordered the books from Amazon when the Aussie and US dollars became almost par, and when they arrived I left them in his office with instructions to wrap them for Christmas. Here are a few of them.
I plan to do a pattern drafting course one day, but hope that this book will be incredibly useful in the meantime.
So far I’ve only flicked through this one, but can already tell that it will be extremely useful. I’m planning on working through it properly like a series of classes.
Oh wow, the skirts in this book! They are astounding! Wearable art, and so effective. I’ve seen a few variations on Another Day in Paradise, and am so glad that I took her lead and bought a copy of this marvellous book.
I’ll be back later with some crochet books to show you!
ROTFLOL at the instructions! Hey whatever it takes! 🙂 You are going to love the Adele Margolis book!
Happy New Year!!!
Happy New Year Lara!
Wowzers that sensational skirt book looks fantastic!
That “Make Your Own Dress Patterns” book looks fabulous! What a great husband you have (teehee)!
Great selection of books Lara!
That skirt book looks great. I’m going to check it out. Looking forward to the crochet books.
Fab books! I have the Cal Patch design-your-own book, but I’ve not seen that Adele Margolis one before.
Mr Thornberry is so clever – I like that sort of gift giving, not so big in the surprise but real good in the happy. Best wishes to you for 2010, I can’t wait to see what new crafty greatness you have cooking up
Lucky Mr.Thornberry! to have a personal shopper to help him with getting gifts for his wife. and then he gets all the credit – the smiles and shrieks of glee, the hugs and kisses… What a lovely Christmas picture!
