Vintage crochet Friday #33
This photo could do with a caption too – many thanks to those who contributed a smile and a giggle to last week’s photo!
As usual, Clare would like one – she prefers the dress on the left. I think that there aren’t enough hours in the day even if I crocheted all day every day to complete everything she’s asked for.
Is the girl with the dark hair laughing because her brother is wearing a pink collar???
I can’t think of a caption – too hysterical for words!!!
the one in the pink is definately a boy!!!
thanks for dropping by and for your words of encouragement. I went through my ironing and pulled out the shirts and a handful of ‘best’ clothes and then folded the rest and put it away – hadn’t done this before! Can’t wait till all 3 kids are in uniform 🙂
Wow. My kidlets + any white article of clothing = massive FAIL.
Can you imagine the fuzz these would turn into after a few washings? They’d be like poodle suits after awhile.
Boy or girl….it’s a horrible haircut! I’d be saying, “They must love me more cuz look at your hair!”
“I knew Mum and Dad wanted another girl!”
Totally off topic… I’ve got a girl at school who is dead-set on making sunhats and I wondered how you think Nikki’s hat pattern would work. First off all I want reliable sizing and I know hers are usually spot on. Second – how do you think a fairly clever 12 year old would manage it – lots of help from me of course. Anything we’ve tried from books or the internet just hasn’t made decent hats.
Lara, on the ABC News website there is a article on two girls that have crotched a reef to help explain geometric space, i think you and your girls should lift your game. I am thinking may be something representing space maybe the whole solar system. get cracking oh after you finish my bag of course.
I love how kids just say – yeah you should so make that for me, and they have no idea how much work is involved in that 30 second request. She would look super cute in it though.
