Sunday Stash #30
Here they are – the $2 per metre cottons I bought from Spotlight a couple of weeks ago.
I have two or three metre lengths of each of these. Can’t you envisage lots of clothes for little girls?
Something for Stella from this one – maybe from one of the Oliver & S patterns that are languishing in the drawer. Or maybe I could hijack this fabric – but I never wear yellow.
This should coordinate nicely with lots of other fabrics I already have in the stash.
Oh, just too cute – the graphic flowers align beautifully to form bright stripes. Clare for this one, I think.
Liberty-esque floral. Something traditional, probably lots of gathers and potentially some frills. Possibly for Stella.
So sweet! Old-fashioned yet that orange and the lime green in it keeps it fresh. Matching outfits for both girls?
Clare says that this one is her favourite. It was the first I spotted on the clearance table too. Very pretty – I bought the last couple of metres on the bolt.
The fabric shelves are full to overflowing. I had better stop blogging and start sewing! Thanks again Tamara for hosting Sunday Stash. And Happy Birthday today hubby!
I bought that last one too just before my fabric diet kicked in. I have no idea what I will make with it but it is pretty. Can’t wait to see what you do with it!
$2 per metre…. great bargain hunting. The fabrics are beautiful. And I’m with Clare. The last one is my favourite too.
I have a giant pincushion (from Dear Fii) made in that second to last one !
I think the first one with yellow would really suit an Oliver & S pattern.
I have that same retro style yellow floral that I bought ages ago, but I haven’t actually used it for anything yet…. still thinking!
Happy Birthday for yesterday and Happy Birthday to Mr Thornberry for today.
Such gorgeous fabrics. Those are great purchases. I saw over at CurlyPops that it was your birthday yesterday. Happy, happy birthday to you and Mr Thornberry. Hope you are having a lovely weekend of celebrations.
Why does my Spotlight never have fabrics that look that good
Gorgeous choices. Lucky you to have found them at such great prices. Alas my local Spotlight does not seem to yield such beauties!
I have a few of these too! The navy and yellow is my favourite. I bought something ridiculous like 10 metres, so I don’t think I will run out for a long time.
