Happy mail
I’ve mentioned before how much I love our Australia Post contractor. Always friendly, leaves parcels in secret spots out of the rain if we’re not here, and receiving packages is always a bit like a birthday! I was lucky this week – I got two packages.
Lots of cute ribbons and a challenge in Amitie’s VIP Blog mailout, and in the other parcel was this:
Lovely Tamara sent me this gorgeous Heather Bailey fat quarter after reading my Sunday Stash post about my planned queen size quilt. It matches the other fabrics I have perfectly! As well as including a very pretty postcard, she added some lovely clips from her hair accessories shop Ella and Kate. They are so pretty, and both Clare and Stella pounced on them as soon as they spotted them! Stella is very keen to emulate big sister at the moment, so hair clips and hair ties are all the go in our household (not that she leaves them in her hair for very long). I’ll be back to buy more of those bows at a later date – they are very well made and stay in hair beautifully, even’s Stella’s fine curls. Thank you thank you Tamara – you are very sweet and we all appreciate your generosity.
I think I have more of that fabric too if you need more let me know
Good luck with the Amitie challenge! How lovely and generous for Tamara to send you the fabric! This quilt is going to be fantastic. 🙂
How cute is that Amitie challenge? I really need to join up as a VIP so I can join in the lovely mail fun!
So glad the fabric is a good match and going to a good use. And the ribbons are loved.
You know, I got the ribbon too and I am stumped what to do with it all. You would think that dealing with ribbon all day long I would be brimming with ideas, not so.
I popped into Amitie today, such a lovely place. I picked up some ‘much needed fabrics’:)
What a haul! I’d have kissed the postman, I think.
That’s so exciting. Seeing your Amitie mailout makes me more excited about mine. I worked on mine last night – totally out of my comfort zone. Anyway, just dropped in to thank you for putting me onto Amitie VIP bloggers, as I am totally caght up in the magic of my first envelope from them.
Pictures! Pictures! Li’l girls in hair bows would make my day. (I’m off to clean 3 bathrooms in a household with 3 boys – not pretty….) I need a little girl fix now and then, and pics of your lovely ladies always make me go: “Awwwwww….”. Consider it a social service.
Gotta love happy mail !
