Stella’s Soft Haze Hoodie
It wasn’t until I entered the details of this project into Ravelry that I realised that I made Stella’s hoodie in just one week! Gasp! Long car trips certainly help with that. So without further ado, here is Stella’s Soft Haze Hoodie.
It took about five balls of Patons Soft Haze (acrylic, wool and bamboo blend) with a 5.5mm Clover Soft Touch hook. The pattern is a freebie from here. I made Stella the medium size, but had to add quite a few rows (about six?) to both the sleeve and body length to get the proportions right. Luckily, this is crocheted from the top down, so it was simple to add the extra rows.
Hopefully it should fit right through winter. Stella has had a bit of a growth spurt lately (about time too) and I suddenly had to locate the box of Clare’s toddler clothes.
I really like the hood, and it was very easy to do! I’d recommend this as a good project for a new crocheter who feels happy with the basics and is ready to progress a little.
That is fantastic!!
Ooohhh Now I have something to aim for as this is soooo cute. Can’t talk off to practice.
That’s very clever and very very cute! Do you knit as well as crochet?
That is so good! Nice job!
Stella is turning into quite the little model, too.
This is so sweet and cute!
That is so cute
Lara, it’s beautiful. You are so talented.
Is this ever cute, I’ll have to go bookmark the pattern as I’m going to be an up-coming auntie and grandma. If Stella outgrows it just add a few more rows.
This is absolutely beautiful. Hopefully, I’ll be able to make something like this for my little girl this winter.
so very cute! Stella looks gorgeous in it.
Your hoodie (and daughter!) are just beautiful.
That is so darling, i love the light pink!
Ooooo, that really is lovely! Maybe I should learn to crochet – that would definitely be an inspiration.
Adorable!!! The Soft Haze is a great choice too 🙂
The hoodie is almost as sweet as the little angel wearing it.
