Spooky party
One of Miss Clare’s little friends had a spooky party for his 6th birthday. Clare decided to go as Bride of Dracula.
She was very excited about getting dressed up – her costume had been ready for days! She did her own makeup, but declined the offer of some plastic vampire teeth – too uncomfortable. I made her veil a little while ago from an old curtain and headband, and her cape was made from an op-shop ladies skirt with the back seam unpicked and a neck ribbon added.
A potential victim maybe? The kids had a ball, with all sorts of ghoulish costumes, themed party games and lots of wonderful party food. A terrific party theme – although a few children were more scared than spooked!
LOL she looks great. I hope she had a wonderful time.
I know what you mean about green. Here I keep thinking of the new fresh greens of Spring that are slowly happening.
great costume and love the makeup! Stella looks terrified!
She did a great job with the makeup!
Nice makeup – she looks great ! Don’t kids just love dressups!
Wow – very spooky – is Stella still in one piece – it does look as if Claire is eyeing her off as a tasty after party snack.
in catching up on my blog reading I see I owe you a big “Happy 10th!”
What spooky fun it looks like…my little one loves to dress up and since she is all about scarey movies I think this would have been right up her alley!
I’m shuddering in my boots! You should have warned us!
