10th Wedding Anniversary
Yesterday was our tenth wedding anniversary. Hubby arranged a secret celebration. He organised for my parents to come down from the country to look after the kids, then to have the two of us dropped off at a landing beside the Yarra River. A few moments later a friend (best man at our wedding) arrived in a little boat with champagne, dip and snacks, and off we went on a cruise down the river.
We took in the sights of the City from the prime position of the river, and eventually disembarked at Southgate to go and enjoy a beautiful Italian meal, then stayed overnight in the city. We didn’t get home until lunchtime today.
Thanks so much hubby (and the Captain) for arranging such a fabulous surprise! It was a wonderful night. We’ve never had an evening out like it before. The last ten years have flown by. I posted a wedding photo last year, and all the same sentiments apply – I love you and I’m so glad that you are my husband and the wonderful father of our beautiful girls.
Happy anniversary!! We both share the same wedding anniversary – 13th feb. My husband and I even got married on Friday the 13th so it was an extra special day yesterday for us.
May the next ten years be even more happy for the both of you. What a darling he was to organise such a wonderful night for you both. He sounds like a keeper!
