2009 CAL Afghan – January
The successful completion of my 2008 CAL afghan spurred me on to making a rapid start on my 2009 afghan! On 1st Jan I crocheted this square, Mandala.
On 2nd Jan I crocheted Esther’s Square.
Now I’m hanging out to see what the February squares will be! This year’s afghan is all being worked in three shades of Cleckheaton Vintage Hues, with a 6.5mm hook. There are two 12″ afghan CALs that I know of, one on Ravelry and one on Craftster, so I am combining the two into one afghan of 24 different squares.
Ooh the colours of the Mandala square are just divine! Is that just the one ball of wool that is varigated?
you are a machine!!!!
oops I meant to add well done!!!
Pardon my ignorance, but what is CAL? I’m intrigued – I love the mandala – you are super productive – I’m in awe!
love the colours
Great yarn, it is crocheting up beautifully!
Love the colours in these blocks as well as the design.
I am a new ravellry member but search as I may I can’t find any info on this challenge. I would love to join. Can you lead me in the right direction? You’re work is superb!
Just beautiful!
