Busy busy busy
Nikki asked me if I had been busy, since my blog was so quiet. Absolutely! I have still been crocheting away on my CAL afghan, but otherwise things have been extremely busy with the kids and end of year acitvities. Clare performed in a Bollywood dance musical on Sunday night, which had lots of associated rehearsals.
The kids did a superb job! They were so exuberant, and really enjoyed performing. I was a very proud Mum. It was also hilarious to watch – the tears were rolling down my cheeks as the kids tried not only to remember all the dance moves (it was a long song!) but to coordinate them together. Very sweet, and loads of fun.
There have also been birthday parties to attend and Christmas celebrations. Stella met Santa – she was a little nonplussed.
I have a huge pile of sewing projects on my table, with hardly any time to finish them! Time to prioritise and get the Christmas gifts done first. Talking of prioritising, I’d better get ready for work! Goodbye for now.
The photos are gorgeous. Clare looks so pretty in her outfit. I just love the idea of Bollwood dancing for tots! And Stella is doing a sterling job there with Santa (ie. not looking terrified, as some littlies would!). Good luck with your sewing projects. The days are slipping away … I must get a move on too!
Clare looks beautiful, did you make her costume?
Happy sewing!
Totally love Bollywood – Calre looks great !
oh bugger….Sorry about that ugly spelling – just delete me!
What a lovely costume- she looks so sweet. I was terrified the 1st time I saw Santa let alone sit on his knee. I had the same response tothe darleks. Those still give me the eeebies when I see “gifts” of them in the shops.
I’m working on a list too- battling through in order of when it needs to be completed by. i think Christmas ought to be postphoned by a month! LOL
Clare looks so cute 🙂 that costume is gorgeous.
My kids have all been scared of santa the first time they meet him. Liam was terrified of the bananas in PJ’s when they came to Tennant Creek too. I love reading your blog, you inspire me 🙂
“”””i think Christmas ought to be postphoned by a month! LOL””” – totally agree!
I popped in to say Clare looks so beautiful and can see that everyone else thinks so too. Really, her little cheeks aglow, so sweet and lovely.
Hi Lara – yes busy lives get in the way of blogging – I been away from blog land for some time too. I was also going to get around to asking you for some good places for me to visit in Melbourne (craft wise of course) . Jim and I are heading down of a weeks break in February and I was hoping to check some places out. I have never been to Melbourne. I was maybe hoping to go to Nikki studio but I haven’t contacted her yet – must do that soon. – Merry Christmas Cheers Tania
