December CAL squares
Sneaky me, I completed the December CAL squares in November! The pattern was posted early to give us time to sew the afghan together before the end of 2008. Without further ado, the December squares, firstly in Lemon:
and in Blue:
Both are crocheted in Bendigo Woollen Mills Cotton 8 ply, with a 4.5mm hook. I had to add a few rows to get them up to size. I also needed to crochet one extra square for my afghan, since it will be 5 by 5 squares.
This pattern is Butterfly Garden. I’m off upstairs now to count the number of edge stitches in each square and determine which need another row or two to get them all the same size. Enjoy your Friday!
Beautiful work Lara! I love the butterfly pattern- so unusual and in a wonderful colour too. I’m excited to see how the throw turns out.
Just beautiful!
These are so lovely Lara. I can’t wait to see all the squares together.
Wow! That is so beautiful! I’ve been reading your blog for a month now and your skills never fail to amaze me. Where did you learn how to crochet? Are there classes in Melbourne?
These are so pretty! I love that butterfly pattern.
