Sunday Stash #7 (on Wednesday)
I’m very late with Sunday Stash this week! Thanks again Tamara for hosting. I wish that I could remember more about this fabric.
It’s only a couple of years old and I think that I bought it from Darn Cheap Fabrics but sadly I don’t remember the composition. I really love the texture of the weave.
This is also destined to become a jacket. I am rather envious of Lynda‘s stash this week – practical and always handy, if not lovely to look at!
Thanks to everyone for the lovely comments on the Cup Day Skirt! I look forward to seeing lots of them around the blogs.
In my life BC when I wore suits I made the majority of them. I love a good tailored jacket and I can see this fabric made up as something with an Alannah Hill flavour? mmmm! I’ve got some great tips to achieve a professional finish they never tell you even in a vogue pattern. Next time you’re doing a jacket drop me a line 🙂
What a great print – I can see why you like the weave too. Its really quite unusual.
It reminds me of a 1930s floral my Nana had. Beautiful. I do love purple. I love the fuller skirt in your previous post. Your daughter looks like she loves a skirt with plenty of twirl. Awwww. 🙂
