November CAL squares
I can’t quite work out why some months I cannot find the motivation to start on the CAL squares, and other months I get them done within a week of the square being announced. I’ve just finished the November squares. The pattern is Supernova, and they’re worked in Bendigo Woollen Mills 8 ply cotton with a 4.5mm hook, as usual. In Lime:
and in Fennel:
Now I’m heading off upstairs to lay out the blocks I’ve done so far and see how the colour combination is coming along. Only the December blocks to do (plus one extra block for the centre, as it’s going to be a 5×5 blocks afghan). And to edge all the blocks. And then to sew them together …
it will be fun to see them all together and finished and rather satisfying for you I am certain!
So ‘only a little bit’ left to do then? 😉
Its amazing how much better a decent yarn can make them look from the original! These are beautiful, its making me look at squares Ive previously knocked back again
I think it’s going to look beautiful. The lilac shade you use will look so beautiful with this colour like a bluebell wood.
