You know – Uno!
Last night Clare played Uno with her daddy.
Do you remember Uno? Watching the two of them play brought back so many memories for me. Uno came out in 1971, according to Wikipedia. I used to play it with my parents and friends from around Clare’s age. I was surprised at how well she knew the rules – they’ve been playing it in class at school. It’s a great game – such a good mix of chance, memory and skill.
The postman brought me a parcel today – 8 ply Cotton from Bendigo Woollen Mills.
One colour will be used to edge and join all my crochet-along afghan blocks, but I’m not sure which (although I’m currently leaning toward New Ochre). The other will be used to make something for me!
Yes I remember Uno – don’t remember how to play though – My brother and I used to play it when we went to your holiday house every Christmas –
Love the Bendigo yarns – did you get their new cotton colours that have brought out – can’t wait to do an order with some of the new colours
Oh yes! I remember Uno, although I can’t remember the rules of the game. We used to play a similar game with a normal deck of cards, too… can’t remember what it was called.
Gorgeous yarns! They look edible.
Oh la yes that rings a bell. We don’t have it in the house but it’s definately in the shops.
What a lovely parcel for ideas.
We still play Uno around here. I happened to find some Hello Kitty Uno cards for my daughter. Love those! That and we have started playing Rook too!
I am a big fan of Uno. Haven’t played it for a while but the cards are never too hard to find. Those yarn colours are gorgeous!
Aw, yes, Uno. That’s so great that Daddy plays games with her. Time well spent!
And lovely colors. Can’t wait to see the completed project.
I just bought Uno at my local $2 shop and am looking forward to playing it with my family over the Christmas break. I have happy memories of it too from when I was much younger……
Hi, I am from Serbia and I play UNO with my children. We like this game…
That yarn is GORGEOUS! And oh! Uno! I loooved that game as a kid.
