This is … what makes me laugh out loud
This has been the most difficult “this is” for me so far! I have found it really difficult to identify what in particular makes me laugh out loud. I don’t think that I am a terribly serious person – my friends often make me laugh, I laugh at funny things I read, at things that the children do and say, at absurdities. But what especially makes me laugh out loud – to the extent that I start to giggle just remembering it? This is embarassing – it’s when people walk into glass doors.
More specifically, watching the expression on my husband’s face when he walks into a glass door. He did this about ten years ago – luckily he didn’t hurt himself – and for some reason, I found it hilarious. I still do! Yet I loathe programs like “funniest home videos” where the “humour” is often people hurting themselves. So why do I find this so funny? Clare recently walked straight into our screen door and I found that hilarious too (once reassured that she wasn’t hurt). Maybe there is something wrong with me …
Lara, I found this one a bit hard too. I really had to think about it before I could narrow it down.
