Two of my February Ravelry Crochetalong blocks are done.  This month the pattern is Cross My Heart.

This was my first attempt at this pattern.  I had to frog sections quite a few times before I really got the hang of it (and because I didn’t always pay enough attention to the instructions) and the surface chaining isn’t perfect.  It also took way longer than it should.  The second block was much faster and in my opinion looks better – much more even.

Practice makes perfect!  Although I used the same yarn and hook size as the January blocks, these have worked out slightly larger (although I added an extra row of dc around the outside of these ones because at first they were much smaller).  It won’t matter once all the blocks are joined together (I hope).

The multicoloured February block is still in yarn and hook form.
