knitting needle case for Tracey
Happy Birthday Tracey! I know that I promised to make you one of these a long time ago – well, now it’s a birthday present!
I used this tutorial. The fabrics are a mixture of Blossom by Moda, Kaffe Fassett, and Heather Bailey’s Freshcut for Free Spirit.
There is loads of room for a multitude of knitting needles, plus room in the bottom pocket for crochet hooks, cable needles, and circular needles. There is a flap across the top to stop needles from falling out.

Clare has mixed media firmly under control. I love the idea of the flap at the top to keep them all from sliding out , great fabric mix.
Love the fabric mix on the needle roll, too – and of COURSE Clare’s beautiful work is STUNNING!
I’m looking at some of those fabrics on the needle roll and really have to HOLD MYSELF BACK from any more online fabric shopping…. Your work inspires me to sew AND spend vast sums of money on my increasing fabric stash!!!
