I’m developing a good friendship with the parcel delivery contractor
The parcel delivery contractor is a lovely man. Good thing too, because we see him on a regular basis! The latest arrivals:
You can probably guess where they’re from: Z & S Fabrics.
Here’s the more detailed fabric eye candy.
Oh how I love those Amy Butler prints (top photo, right hand side)! They’re even nicer in real life! I ordered most of these fabrics in clothing quantities rather than 1/2 yard for crafting.
Vow for December: NO ONLINE FABRIC SHOPPING.
good luck with the NO ONLINE FABRIC SHOPPING!
Love the Hungarian embroidered ornaments from the Vogue pattern! I too made these when the pattern came out in the late 70s (I think that’s when it was). Recently, I was able to buy another one on eBay and will be making them again since the original ones that I made got lost in a move. I can remember when I first made them it was the first time I worked with rayon floss, which can be a little challenging, but it’s so beautiful and shiny!
Your embroidery is excellent for being in primary school!

You have some great patterns and colours there!
It would really spice up your parcel delivery man’s van seats if you were to whip up some seat covers – he’d always remember you and give you even better service!
(Wish I had something colourful to look at when I was delivering parcels!)
