Finished washcloths
The washcloths are done (and the yellow one has even been used)!
The yellow one is in grit stitch.
The red one is in sedge stitch.
Both are in Anchor Magicline cotton, which self-stripes as you go. It was a bit harsh on the hands to crochet, but worked up into a terrific texture which will function very well. I can’t bear to use them on the dishes, so they’re becoming bath washcloths. Each took one ball of yarn.
I have some other projects on the go, but they’re Christmas gifts, so I can’t blog them yet! They’re a bit more exciting than washcloths …
WoW! Nice colors. I would use them as bath washcloths.
What a great idea to make them as tension/test squares. I might do that just so I can learn more crochet from patterns which I’m hopeless at. Can granny square all night but patterns do my head in!!
Those are some bright colors! Very pretty. 🙂
