And a top to match!
I made a top to match the button skirt, using Butterick 4118.
Rather than turning the fabric under to make a self casing for the elastic around the sleeve and neck edges, I used some of the myriad of floral bias binding that I made a couple of weeks ago, and applied it to the outside of the fabric.
I used the same triple zig-zag stitch along the hem of the top as used on the hem of the skirt. It was a super-quick top to make, will be nice and cool for summer, and she likes it! And it’s not pink!
How adorable…both the little sweetie and the set!
I like how you used the bias…I’ve done that and have been pleased with the results.
With friendship,
Lisa
How lovely, and your model is adorable!
I love it. You have inspired me to buy the skirt pattern too. It is on it’s way!!!
