My titles aren’t very imaginative, are they!  But they certainly do let you know what is in store with each post!  Pretty much typical of my personality – to the point, very little imagination.  Miss Clare has a cold, so we spent the day at home watching telly and doing craft – which for me, meant sewing!  Anyway, to get to the point, I sewed up this pinafore for Miss Clare this afternoon. 

I’m happy with it, it fits nicely and looks good, and most of the construction is of a high standard.  The pattern is New Look 6477, and the lovely fine soft corduroy from Lincraft.  I need to improve my zip insertion – I probably should have done it by hand, then sewed the lining fabric to it nicely, but anyway, this way was quick and simple and no-one will see it.  I generally use invisible zips rather than normal ones, because I prefer the finish they give, but didn’t have any in the stash!
