Quilt photos
Although I’ve made no more sewing progress over the past week, I do have some photos!
This one is for baby Zoe (my cousin’s new daughter).
My daughter seems to think to that the pink one is hers!
And one of these two will be for baby due in May
Next projects are aprons for Clare (which I have cut out since taking this photo)
followed by a dress – I’ll use the pink floral as the main fabric, and the yellow print for the front inset, band, ties and frill. I’ll do long sleeves instead of short (she’s got more than enough summer dresses)!
I seem to be adding to my “post-pregnancy” pattern stash quite heavily at the moment – probably while I still have an income! Lots of tops – I’m looking forward to sewing for myself!
Hi lara – I just love the pink and white one !!!!!
love your quilts!! wish I could get along with my machine enough to give this a try!
Thanks ladies! They were pretty easy to do – I did the piecing with the overlocker. The chenille squares I used were pretty old and not as beautiful as those available from Polka Dot Chenille 😉 but overall I was pleased with the effect.
